Disabled people testing home technology
In 2017, RiDC (then named RICA) carried out research into the benefits for disabled people of connected home technology, including devices using voice recognition and wearables.
Three members of our consumer panel – one person with MS and two blind members – tested the Amazon Echo, Apple Watch and Hive technology at home over a 2 week period.
