Katherine holds a BA with honours in Politics and Sociology from the University of Warwick. She coproduced her dissertation with adults with learning disabilities on their experiences accessing health services. Prior to joining RiDC, Katherine was a support worker, supporting disabled adults access the community.
Katherine is currently a trustee and safe guarding champion at Heart of England Mencap, a charity that works with adults with learning disabilities. Katherine's work with Heart of England Mencap and as a support worker has shaped her career to focus on the improvement of access for people with disabilities.
