Indigo Ayling, Associate Director of Research

Indigo is an Associate Director of Research with RiDC.

Indigo holds an MPhil in Health, Medicine and Society from the University of Cambridge. They hold a BA in International Relations from SOAS, University of London. Before joining RiDC, Indigo led on impact and evaluation research at a national disability equality charity. They are currently a trustee of Inclusion London, a Deaf and Disabled people’s organisation. Indigo also works as an interdisciplinary artist.

They are passionate about taking an intersectional approach to accessibility research. They enjoy using participatory research methods to value the expertise of the most impacted.

At RiDC, Indigo works with the National Centre for Accessible Transport (ncat). They also work on a wide range of projects, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
